September Parent Meeting Minutes

Thursday, September 10, 2009, 7:00 p.m.

1.Meeting began at 7:10 p.m.

2.Information to be posted on the TGS website should be emailed to Pam Boseker.

3.Event information, such as parent group meetings and Market Day pickup, should be posted on the marquee in front of the school.

4.Katie is now office manager for The Graham School. Jess is the new front desk person.

5.Charter schools have no calamity days this year.

6.It was suggested that a posting page be added to the school website.

Lunch Program Information

The Graham School lunch is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:17 - 12:52. Lunch is provided through Events by Linzy - a caterer who contracts with both The Graham School and The Charles School. The daily cost is $2.75 for a whole lunch. Individual items are also available. Lunch signup is at the front desk, for that day or the week. Payment is due when lunch is purchase or lunches can be prepaid by cash or check for any length of time. Free or reduced lunch qualificatio will be based on the application included in the school forms packet.

Here are the Course Descriptions and Schedule of Courses for the 2009-10 School Year. Students should have first and second choices picked for each period of the day prior to their orientation session during the week of August 31^st.

Dear Parents or Guardians:

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year at The Graham School. Our faculty and administration hope you had an enjoyable summer vacation with your family and friends. We look forward to your child’s return to the first day of school on Tuesday, September 8^th at 9:00 a.m.

Below you will find important dates and information you will need to know prior to the beginning of the school year. It is important that you read our school’s policies and procedures, which are located in the front of the .

Students on IEPs will be contacted by an intervention specialist to schedule classes. Other student should register for classes at the following times. Parents are not required to be present but you must bring all registration materials (see back of letter) or you student will not be allowed to register.
