Weather Cancellation Information

Wondering if school is canceled? Tune in to your local TV News!

If Columbus City Schools are canceled, you can expect The Graham School to be canceled.

There may be times when Columbus City Schools ARE in session and The Graham School is NOT in session.  Typically, this would be on a Tuesday or Thursday, when our students are going to their experiential sites.  If it is deemed too hazardous for students to travel to and from site, The Graham School may be canceled, even though Columbus City Schools are still in session.

Proof of Residency Now Required

The Ohio Department of Education is now requiring all schools to have proof of residency on file for every registered student. All parents or guardians will need to provide a copy of a utility bill, lease agreement, or mortgage payment which states their address.

If you are the legal guardian for a student, you will have to provide a copy of a legal court document, signed by a judge or magistrate, that establishes you as the guardian.

Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) Available

Juniors and seniors who have passed the OGTs are eligible to take college classes for free and receive both high school and college credit. This is a wonderful opportunity to get a head start on college and expereince college classes. We want our student to be prepared to take on  responsibilities while receiving support at TGS!

If your student is interested for Fall 2011, ask them to talk to Adrienne or Elaine before March 30.

Ohio Graduation Test

OGT Testing begins on March 14th. The tests are given in the following order: Reading, Math,  Writing, Science, and Social Studies. Make-up tests will be given during the week of March 21-25.

Please help your child prepare for the test by making sure he or she has a good night's sleep and a good breakfast. Visit http://ogt.success-ode-state-oh-us.info/studentsOGT.htm for practice tests.

Parent/Teacher/Student conferences - March 14th

No appointment necessary, join us from 5:00 to 7:00pm on March 14th.

Before you come, check your student's current grades and attendance via the internet. To access this information, go to http://powerschool.thegrahamschool.org. At this site, you will be able to create an account with your student's ID and password, which were mailed with progress reports in early January.
