Information for and about familes of Graham school students and alumni.
Maria DiSabato is getting ready for her Senior Walkabout to Bolivia in March with the Global Gallery to support the Family Restoration Project and San Rafael Afterschool program near Cochabamba.
Maria is the youngest of the seven participants who will help build parts of the orphanage and develop community connections. All the trip participants are bringing donated items badly needed by the 80 orphans in the program. Maria is collecting donations from her school and from the community.
Donations are needed by March 12 and include: Underwear (both boys and girls, ages from 2-15); antiseptics; emergency medical supplies; school supplies (notebooks, coloring books, crayons, pencils, markers, pens); small bottles of shampoo; soap; or money to buy supplies.
Deliveries or donations can be brought to The Graham School at 3950 Indianola Avenue, Columbus, 43214, in care of Amy Bradley.
A message from Dr. Eileen Meers:
We are 10 years old!!! We need your help. We do not have a documented history of The Graham School; YOU are our history. It is in your memories.
Here is what we would like to do. We want to have a book or a series of books set up chronologically with stories, memories, comments, art work, etc. from you. We would also like to have art work, photography, poems, etc. that are, or can be made into, 8 by 11 images for the book. Ideally we will have a book for each year. The books should include writings from alums and families, current students as well as present and former staff and board members. Please be sure to put the year you graduated or the years you were involved in the school on it so we can put it in the right sequence in the book.
You made history by being part of the start of Graham: now help us write history. I want to assmeble it in April and copy it in May so we need it by April 1st, a fitting date for fun!
